Discover AI tools with Rundown AI

Good morning friends!

Welcome to Building & Growing, a newsletter for people curious about remote work, web3, and the creator economy, you can consider subscribing here:

Before we get to the usual content of each issue, I have some news I like to share in today’s issue.

$BRIANWJH is dropping soon. (I hope)

Have you heard of Talent Protocol?

Talent Protocol is a professional platform where web3 builders can create their own on-chain resume and find support they need to succeed in their careers. I have been seeing a number of ‘talents’ launching their own tokens on Talent Protocol and I thought I should also test out launching my own tokens.

I am spending the next few weeks to learn more about ‘Personal Tokens’ and possibly write a Medium article on $BRIANWJH tokenomics.

If you are interested in my token launch, follow me on Medium and subscribe to this newsletter.

Thread of the week

Here’s something interesting I saw on Twitter today:

I came across Rowan’s content a few days ago and decided to follow his account for more AI related content. Rowan is the creator of Rundown AI, a newsletter with over 90K subscribers (pretty big community). Rundown AI has a directory of AI tools across different categories and I am testing out a few of them as you are reading this issue.

I definitely see the value in of keeping up with technology changes and embracing AI. By staying informed and adaptable, we'll have a competitive edge in today's fast-paced world. I also feel that AI has the potential to transform many industries and change the way we work, so it's important to learn how to harness its power.

Subscribing to newsletter like Rundown AI could be helpful for our career!

What are some AI tools you are trying out? Let me know by replying to this issue!

Article of the week - The Future of Work: How to Stay Ahead in a Rapidly Changing Landscape

One of the most significant shifts has been the rise of the gig economy. Freelance work are becoming more common, with a growing number of people choosing to work for themselves rather than for traditional employers. According to Demand Sage, there are over 1.57B freelancers in the world as of 2023 and the freelance market is said to be worth $1.5 trillion and increasing at 15% annually.

The gig economy offers workers greater flexibility and control over their schedules, but it also requires a different set of skills and a willingness to constantly adapt to new projects and clients.

To succeed in the gig economy, you need to be highly skilled in your area of expertise, be able to market yourself effectively, and have a strong network to help you find new work. In the full article, I cover some of the key trends shaping the future of work and provide tips on how you can stay ahead in a rapidly changing landscape.
