Behind the Scenes at Roamie: IOS MVP in Progress
Quick update from me: We’re building the Roamie MVP and need your help.
Good morning friends!

Quick update from me as we move into another exciting week building Roamie — my AI-powered, people-first travel app for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
You can read my last issue by clicking the button below:
Over the past week, Jason (my co-founder) and I have been working heads-down on the IOS MVP, and things are finally taking shape.
We’re now structuring the onboarding flow, defining how Roamie learns your travel vibe, and designing the core experience where the app actually suggests trips that fit your schedule and budget.
A big piece we’ve been thinking through:
How do we make Roamie feel like a friend who knows your life, not just another travel tool?
This means smarter inputs, cleaner UI, and more personalised recommendations based on how Gen Z really plans trips — not how traditional travel apps assume they do.
But here’s the honest truth:
We’re still early, and your support makes a massive difference at this stage. If you want to help shape the product, or just be one of the first people to try Roamie, here are three quick things that would mean a lot:
✅ 1. Join Roamie’s Waitlist
You’ll get early access before launch and be part of our first tester group.

Article I posted recently - Making new friends: 83 Strangers and 21 Dinners Later
if you caught my first article on Medium about Timeleft, you might remember I was pretty excited about this up and coming social app that was changing how I met new people. Well, a lot has happened since then — 21 dinners and 83 new connections later, to be exact. I thought it was time for an update on my Timeleft journey and share some observations that might help fellow social explorers out there.
If you prefer watching a video instead of reading this entire article, here’s a reel i just posted.
Back in January, I decided to test drive Timeleft when I returned home to Singapore. Having experienced several dinners in Bangkok , I was curious how the experience will be different back in Singapore.
The Singapore Timeleft crowd has a completely different vibe. It’s noticeably more reserved compared to the energetic Bangkok gatherings. The table composition was almost the inverse of what I’d grown accustomed to in Thailand — fewer expats and travelers, with predominantly Singaporeans and locals making up the dinner parties.
I dive deeper into Timeleft New Features, and the hidden work of friendships in the full article below:
